Flaunting his affection to the 'Blue Valentine' actress, the 'Five-Year Engagement' actor reportedly holds her hand, whispers in her ear and escorts her around the tables at the New York bash.

AceShowbiz - Jason Segel and Michelle Williams have not confirmed the status of their relationship, but the two have got more open about their romance. The rumored new couple flaunted their affection at one another on Wednesday, April 18 night as they attended the afterparty of "The Five-Year Engagement" premiere.

According to PEOPLE, Segel and Williams were inseparable at the bash held at New York's Museum of Modern Art. The "How I Met Your Mother" star allegedly held the Oscar winner's hand for most of the night. He was also seen whispering in her ear and escorting her around the tables. In return, the "My Week with Marilyn" actress kissed him on the cheek and rubbed his back.

An eyewitness additionally told Us Weekly that the pair hung out with Emily Blunt and Robert De Niro at the afterparty. "Michelle was really sweet but her usual shy self in crowds - she stayed close to Jason and only really engaged in conversation with people that she knew," the source further dished. "Jason would put his arms around her waist and they gave each other a few sweet pecks."

Earlier that evening, Williams joined Segel at the Ziegfeld Theater for the Tribeca Film Festival premiere of "Five-Year Engagement". Though she skipped the red carpet, the 31-year-old beauty joined the 32-year-old actor inside the theater. PEOPLE reported that before she left when the movie ended, she got a little kiss on the cheek from him.

When asked recently about his plans for getting engaged, Segel joked with the magazine, "My plan is to get her to marry me as quickly as possible before she finds out who I really am. I'll do it romantic, but I'll do it like over a three-day weekend. We'll meet on Friday, have our first date on Saturday, engaged on Sunday and married on Monday."

The leading man of "The Muppets" also admitted that he's now ready to make a commitment. "I hit my thirties and enough became enough," he explained. "I'm ready to enter phase three. I put the puppets into a closet. I'm getting nice furniture."
