The ex-wife of Bob Whitfield announces she's leaving the Bravo reality series because she's 'tired of the fighting and the cattiness.'

AceShowbiz - "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" is losing another of its original cast members. Following rumors that she was fired from the reality series, Sheree Whitfield has confirmed she's leaving the show by tweeting on Wednesday, April 18, "Yes it is official. I'm leaving Real Housewives of Atlanta. I enjoyed my time working with everyone affiliated with the show."
To Wetpaint, she explained the reason why she's parting ways with the Bravo hit franchise. "After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful 'Housewives' franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle," she claimed.
The 42-year-old mother of three added, "I'm tired of the fighting and the cattiness... I want to be part of something that empowers and inspires women to not only be healthy, but to treat themselves with respect. I wish the rest of the women the best of luck."
Bravo has also confirmed the news of Sheree's departure, saying in a statement, "We have enjoyed working with Sheree as part of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'. We wish her all the best in the future."
Sheree joined "RHOA" since the first season. With her exit, NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak are the only remaining original cast members staying on the show.
