AceShowbiz - Despite having just been arrested on suspicion of drunk driving, Amanda Bynes might have not learned her lesson. On Thursday, April 12 night, the former Nickelodeon actress went out partying again and broke another law as she was photographed texting behind the wheels while trying to park her car outside a Los Angeles hotspot.
Seemingly too focused on the screen of her white iPhone, Bynes eventually backed over a curb in a red zone with her car. A photographer additionally spilled to PEOPLE that the 26-year-old starlet was "not even looking at the road." According to the photog, she even "went right through a stop sign." It should be noted that texting while driving is illegal in the state of California since 2009.
On Thursday night, Bynes was spotted hitting two hotspots, Chateau Marmont and Greystone Manor. Arriving at the latter venue before midnight, the "Easy A" actress was joined by a male friend. A witness told the publication, "She was behind the wheel of a black BMW. When Amanda saw the photographers, she tried to hide under her sweater as she entered the club. Amanda was in a good mood."
Bynes was arrested for DUI in West Hollywood on early Friday, April 6 morning. A statement from West Hollywood Sheriff's Department regarding her arrest detailed that the "Hairspray" actress collided with the right rear quarter panel of a police car when she tried to pass it. She was released without posting any bail later that day.
