Joseph Gordon-Levitt Confronts Bruce Willis in First 'Looper' Trailer
Movie

The trailer sees Gordon-Levitt working as a cross-era assassin, who is suddenly tasked to kill the older version of himself, portrayed by Willis.

AceShowbiz - Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt's time travel thriller "Looper" has premiered its very first trailer. The promo video gives a look at the dualistic setting that takes place in the past and in the future. Gordon-Levitt's character is seen working as an assassin for a company called the Looper. Trouble comes as he has to confront and kill his older self, who is played by Willis.

The movie itself is set in a near future where time travel doesn't exist but will be invented in a few decades. It follows a group of assassins, who work for a crime syndicate in the future. Their bosses send the targets hogtied and blindfolded back in time to those killers, and their job is to simply shoot the victims in the head and dispose of the body. So, the target vanishes from the future and the assassin dispose of a corpse that doesn't technically exist.

Also starring Emily Blunt, Paul Dano and Jeff Daniels, "Looper" is due to arrive in the U.S. cinemas on September 28. Serving as the writer and director is Rian Johnson, who also teamed up with Gordon-Levitt in 2005's "Brick".

Johnson has previously said that the forthcoming movie will have "lots of action." He added that the film will present a heavy plot as saying, "It also has this premise that you can dig into a little bit and it hopefully makes you think."
