The 'Better Than I Know Myself' singer is expected to perform the new single on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' later this month.

AceShowbiz - After revealing a cover art for his next single "Never Close Our Eyes", Adam Lambert releases an album version of the song. Featuring electro-pop feel, the song is taken from his second album "Trespassing" which is due in the U.S. on May 15.

"I wish that this night would never be over," Lambert belts out the chorus of the pop/rock anthem. "There's plenty of time to sleep when we die/ So let's just stay awake until we grow older/ If I had my way we'd never close our eyes."

Lambert is expected to perform the new single on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" when he pays a visit on April 26. The season 8 runner-up of "American Idol" reportedly is going to perform at an outdoor mini concert for the TV gig.

Aside from visiting Jimmy Kimmel, he's also expected to return to the "Idol" stage in an upcoming episode. On top of that, he's scheduled to share stage with Queen in four of their upcoming concerts this summer. They will be joined by Elton John in one of them.
