Sources said that beside four months of poor performance, the husband of Khloe Kardashian was also involved in too much family drama.

AceShowbiz - Lamar Odom's inactivation from Dallas Mavericks' games is reportedly prompted by too many drama occurring in his life in addition to poor performance. The Mavericks announced via general manager Donnie Nelson on Monday, April 9 that Odom will not play in the remaining nine games left in the regular season in order to make sure that Mavericks will get back in the playoffs.

Nelson said, "Look, it's been a frustrating situation. Lamar hasn't performed like he wants to perform, is capable of performing. He's dealt with a lot of personal issues, and at this point, we need to be able to count on some folks." What the management did not disclose further is how his poor performance, family drama and off-court antics left them fed up. "They grew tired of his BS and kicked him to the curb," an NBA source told Page Six. "[The team] didn't need someone pouting like a little kid."

Then husband of reality show star Khloe Kardashian came to Mavericks in December after defending Lakers. However, sources said that he never felt at home in Dallas and grew depressed over time. It was also a case of bad timing because his father grew ill in February.

There was also the pressure of playing for he and wife's reality show "Khloe & Lamar". "When he wasn't playing well, it meant he looked bad," said a source. "And when you have a show about your life, when you are off-court, you have to deal with the producers asking all those questions. He had a horrible summer, but ...he was more concerned about the cameras and how he looked."
