AceShowbiz - Melissa Etheridge's ex-wife is demanding more money from the female rocker. On Monday, April 9, Tammy Lynn Michaels filed a settlement conference brief in which she admitted she needs more than the $23,000 per month that the "Come to My Window" singer is paying for spousal and child support to live on.

In the court documents, Michaels claimed that Etheridge earns roughly $177,882.00 a month, and that she grew accustomed to living at over $128,000 a month during their long-term relationship. The 37-year-old additionally noted that she "has limited income and virtually no savings," while her ex "has extensive resources at her disposal and a tremendous earning capacity."

Aside from the financial issue, Michaels further accused Etheridge of teaching their five-year-old twins, daughter Johnnie Rose and son Miller, to be emotionally distant and rude to her. The actress, who made a guest appearance on "The L Word", also said that the rocker is not holding back on cursing around the children.

Etheridge and Michaels had been romancing each other for nearly nine years before they went their separate ways in 2010. They exchanged vows in Malibu in September 2003. In 2006, Michaels was pregnant via an anonymous sperm donor. She gave birth to their two children on October 17 the same year.
