The former 'Today' anchor got a little lost along the way to 'Good Morning America' studio when her driver took her to the home base of the NBC morning show.

AceShowbiz - Katie Couric's driver seemed to be unaware of her guest-hosting stint on "Good Morning America" when taking her to work Monday, April 2. Waking up early in the morning to start her one-week stint on the ABC show, the 55-year-old journalist was taken to the home base of her former show, "Today".

Sharing the footage when opening the latest edition of "GMA", Couric admitted to co-host George Stephanopoulos that she got a little lost along her way to Times Square Studios. "No, no, not this morning show. 'GMA'!" she told her driver when they were already in front of the "Today" show's home base.

During her first day guest hosting "GMA", Couric visited the set of "Dancing with the Stars" for a behind-the-scene tour. There, she met host Tom Bergeron and some celebrity contestants who were rehearsing for the performance show aired later that night.

Couric is guest hosting "GMA" to fill in for co-host Robin Roberts, who is taking the week off. On Tuesday, April 3, she will face off Sarah Palin who is tapped to guest host rival show "Today" on NBC. The former Alaska governor is ready for the competition as she simply said, "Game on," when asked about going head to head with Couric on ABC.
