The latest outcast of 'American Idol' sings 'A Song for You' and shares that he's in a happy place despite being eliminated from the singing competition.

Heejun Han recently stopped by "Live! with Kelly" for his first live performance post "" elimination. He also took time to have a chat with host and her guest co-host, who's also her real-life husband Mark Consuelos.

Wearing a casual attire which consisted of jeans, sneakers, t-shirt, jacket and beenie, the ninth-place finisher of "Idol" season 11 delivered Leon Russell's classic "A Song for You". After completing the performance, he shared a bit about how his life changed after "Idol".

He confirmed to audience that he and his family moved from Korea to the United States when he's just 12, but he hasn't got his green card until years later. "Imagine your life without green card," he said. "Now I'm able to sing in front of all of you guys. I'm really happy."

In addition to visiting "Live! with Kelly", Heejun also came to "Access Hollywood" to sing the same song. He additionally did an interview, talking about getting the boot from the "Idol" and preparing for upcoming tour with the other top 10 contestants.
