In the first episode of 'NCredible Health Hustle', the husband of Mariah Carey shares footage of him in hospital after having a kidney failure in January.

AceShowbiz - Nick Cannon is sharing to the world his health issues by premiering a new online documentary-style series called "NCredible Health Hustle" via his website. The weekly web series will document his ups and downs, as well as his setbacks and triumphs in dealing with his illness.
In the first episode debuted on Monday, April 2, the "America's Got Talent" host narrates, "A few days ago, I was with my family in the snow, playing, having a good time. All of a sudden, I started swelling up, having shortness of breath, excruciating pain in my right side. I wake up in the hospital, a bunch of doctors telling me I've got kidney failure." The next footage show him in hospital where he was taken when having a kidney failure in January.
On his website, Cannon explains why he decided to share his journey of battling his illness. "Words can't express how grateful and humbled I was by the outpouring of support when I fell ill a few months ago. I realized there was no way I could fully return all the love that was - and is still - shown, but it doesn't mean I can't give it a try," he states.
"Kidney disease and Lupus are serious ailments but, as you'll see through these videos in the coming weeks, it is possible to put the reins on it a bit and gain control of your health and wellness... Hoping this series serves as inspiration for anyone dealing with kidney disease, lupus or ANY ILLNESS to keep pushing as well."
Cannon was hospitalized twice earlier this year; for mild kidney failure in January and for having two blood clots in his lung in February. He later learned that they are caused by a condition called "lupus-type" autoimmune in his system. In March, the 31-year-old husband of Mariah Carey stepped down from his daily radio show to focus on his recovery from the autoimmune disease.
