Making an appearance on the Friday, March 30 episode of "Anderson", the Octomom revealed to host Anderson Cooper that she discussed with her children on whether or not she should take the offer.

"I had to think about that, I reflected on that quite a bit before choosing to do it. I discussed it with my children openly," admitted the 36-year-old after Cooper commented that her photos aren't exactly free from obscenity, "and ironically my very conservative Muslim father was like, 'Do it.' My European mom's like, 'Okay. Nadya. I am playing devil's advocate, you think about how this perhaps could affect the kids later on.' "

Asked how much she got for the photo shoot, Suleman responded, "I'm being honest I did it for money," before revealing, "I got $8,000." She then defended herself by stating, "I have to do what I have to do take care of my family. And I'm not ashamed. I'm not ashamed at all. Regardless, you have to learn to let go of everyone's perspective of you because you can not please the world."

The mother of 14 continued on, "You have to please God - he's the only one I have to answer to at the end of the day - myself and my children. And I have never sacrificed my morals and values. I have laughed at these ridiculous, ludicrous opportunities that I would just never do or engage in; any type of sexual [activity]."

During the chat, Suleman also opened up that her children know her financial struggles. She, however, was quick to note, "I don't feel it's appropriate to burden [the kids] with that kind of stress. I do my best to have life for them every day as happy as possible. We play, we enjoy the moments we have together and that's all that really matters."
