Interestingly, the 'American Idol' season 8 winner will find himself in the middle of competition against Adam Lambert again because their new albums are released one week apart.

AceShowbiz - Kris Allen is ready to reveal more about his second album after graduating first from "American Idol". The season 8 winner will release the sophomore effort, titled "Thank You Camellia", on May 22 via his label RCA. Allen's "Idol" competitor Adam Lambert will release his new album a week before that.

The album, which will be available in standard, deluxe and vinyl editions, is led by single "Vision of Love". The song was released on iTunes this week and worldwide fans will be able to take part in a remix contest. Winner will be personally picked by Allen and win $2,000 cash as well as a pair of Beats by Dr. Dre headphones.

In "Thank You Camellia", Allen worked with producers and songwriters Tim Pagnotta, Curt Schneider, Nasri and Adam Messinger, Kevin Kadish and Boots Ottestad. Allen was also "integrally involved in the production aspect of the recording process."

The new material will be showcased live at the April 13 festival of "Live in the Vineyard", taking place at the Uptown Theater, in Napa, CA.
