Spotted in public with her newly adopted son for the first time, the 'Snow White and the Huntsman' actress keeps the infant covered up with white blanket on top of his car seat carrier.

AceShowbiz - Charlize Theron has taken her infant son out in public less than two weeks after announcing that she has adopted the baby boy. The Meredith Vickers of "Prometheus" was caught on camera bringing along 4-month-old Jackson when she stepped out for a trip to the post office in Los Angeles on Tuesday, March 27.

Dressed in black, 36-year-old Theron carried her boy in his car seat and made sure that he's well shielded from the sun by putting a white blanket with red stars on top of the carrier. According to Us Weekly, the "Snow White and the Huntsman" actress stopped by the post office to get a passport for the boy.

Theron made public Jackson's adoption on March 14. Her representative, at the time, said, "She is the proud mom of a healthy baby boy named Jackson." In a radio interview later that week, the Oscar winner told Ryan Seacrest that her life has "changed a tiny bit" since she had her boy, adding, "I now travel in a pack."

During the chat, the former girlfriend of Stuart Townsend also opened up about her favorite baby gadget so far. "I didn't think I would be a fan of the swaddling, but the swaddling is pretty amazing," she gushed. "It looks a bit like a straight jacket and it feels like child abuse, but for some reason they just love it."
