The 'Girl Gone Wild' singer says she feels apprehensive about how people might react to her new music because she always puts her heart and soul into it.

AceShowbiz - Despite having sold million copies of albums worldwide, Madonna admits she's always anxious whenever releasing an album, and rolling out "MDNA" is no difference. Talking to The Sun, she explains that it's public response that worries her so much.

"I don't think presenting any of my work is less nerve-racking than it ever was because I put my heart and soul into something," she states. "Whether it's on a film or my record, it's something to work on in privacy and create in a kind of bubble and then put it out in the world."

The "Filth and Wisdom" director elaborates her statement, "You never know how people are going to receive it, whether it's going to move them or inspire them. The world is so full of entertainment now, isn't it? So there are a lot of nerves."

Nonetheless, "it's amazing to be back in music," so she shares. "I like the intimacy of a recording studio and song-writing. I'm using a different part of my brain when I work on music versus when I'm directing a film. It's very different."

"I love doing both but it was nice to have the simplicity of songwriting after three years of writing a script and directing and editing and talking about my film, to sit down and play my guitar and sing a song. I almost cried," she continues.

Talking about the creative process of the album, Madge opens up she didn't listen to current pop music while finishing the CD. "I actually don't like listening to pop music while I'm working on pop music - it doesn't really work. You don't want to hear other people's stuff, you need a clean slate to work off," she explains.

When it comes to her two featured guests Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., she has nothing but praise for both of them. "They're both very self-possessed people, especially M.I.A. I don't think she's impressed much by stars and celebrities, so we just got down to business. I loved her," she says.

Madonna worked with Martin Solveig for the album. In a separate interview with Billboard, the producer revealed that the original plan was to collaborate in one song only, but it expanded to three songs once they developed a really good chemistry and "got along very well" in the studio.

"We had a lot in common in terms of music taste, perception of things, cinema taste, food taste, wine taste. And also, she has a very dry humor," he said. "It was a very privileged time. She wasn't under any kind of pressure, she had time to spend on it; it was the only thing she had to work on."

"MDNA" is going to come out in the United States on March 26.
