The 'We Take Care of Our Own' singer jumps into the crowd gathering inside Philips Arena when he performs '634-5789' at the tour opener.

AceShowbiz - Fresh off his performance and speech at SXSW Festival, Bruce Springsteen kicked off his "Wrecking Ball" tour at Philips Arena in Atlanta on Sunday night, March 18. The Boss played 24 songs and did crowd surfing halfway through the concert when delivering "634-5789".

Backed up by his E Street Band, Springsteen alternated his set between playing fans' favorites like "E Street Shuffle" and introducing new songs like "Easy Money" and "Lonesome Day". Like he did at the Apollo Theater last week, he sent his fans home with "10th Avenue Freeze Out".

Filing the vacant slot left by Clarence Clemons was his nephew Jack Clemons. The newest member of the band played sax solos during "Born to Run" and "Dancing in the Dark" and received warm response from the concertgoers.

Springsteen and his band will next perform at Greensboro Coliseum and will continue touring across North America until May 2 with the last stop in Newark, New Jersey. After completing the U.S. leg, they will head to Europe for a roadshow which will wrap up by the end of July.
