'Prometheus' Announces Global Live Chat Event With Leading Cast Members

20th Century Fox confirms that Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender are set to answer fans' questions about the much awaited space thriller during the Saturday, March 17 event on Yahoo! Movies.

AceShowbiz - Those who have been anticipating Ridley Scott's "Prometheus" could have a special chance to discuss the movie with its leading cast members. On Tuesday, March 14, 20th Century Fox announced that the highly anticipated space thriller is set to organize a global live chat event with none other than Charlize Theron and Michael Fassbender.

Fans are invited to participate in the Q&A event which will be held exclusively on Yahoo! Movies on Saturday, March 17 at 9.30 A.M. PT. During the live chat session, fans around the world could watch Theron and Fassbender answering questions from the audience about the much-talked-about thriller.

Along with the event announcement, Fox unveils a video that sees Theron announcing the release date for the latest trailer of "Prometheus". In the short promotional video, the actress playing Meredith Vickers in the forthcoming film is seen reminding the audience that the new sneak peek, which will be jam-packed with brand new footage, is set to make its way out onto the web on Sunday, March 18.

In "Prometheus", Ridley Scott creates a groundbreaking mythology in which a group of explorers find a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth. The discovery lead them to a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe, where they embark on a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.

Theron and Fassbender are joined by a number of notable actors in the cast ensemble. They include Logan Marshall-Green, Noomi Rapace, Ben Foster, Idris Elba and Guy Pearce. The movie, which was initially designed as a prequel to "Alien", will open wide in cinemas across the U.S. on June 8.
