When stopping by 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show', the 'Fashion Star' mentor assures that she is still some weeks away from giving birth to her first child with fiance Eric Johnson.

AceShowbiz - Jessica Simpson is getting closer to welcoming the arrival of her first child with fiance Eric Johnson (II). The "Come on Over" singer stopped by "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" for an interview airing on Tuesday, March 13, and revealed to host Ellen DeGeneres that she has experienced contractions.
"I had contractions last night and I freaked out a little bit," the 31-year-old singer said when talking about her pregnancy. "You know those Braxton Hicks things." When Ellen asked for an explanation, she elaborated, "It's like these contractions that pregnant woman have towards the end. It prepares your body for delivery."
Jessica was quick to add, "I'm prepared." She went on to admit, "It's scary. It's like, oh God, this can happen right now," before saying that the actual labor "will hurt very badly." Asked when her due date is, the former wife of Nick Lachey assured, "I have some weeks. I really do. It's not like tomorrow."
During the chat, the older sister of Ashlee Simpson also spilled that she and Eric have picked the name for their impending daughter, but are keeping it to themselves until the baby is born. "We've been calling her by her name. She reacts to it now," she claimed. "I could be one of those psycho moms that just thinks one little kick is like her really listening to me."
