AceShowbiz - Just days after announcing her pregnancy and their engagement, Snooki and fiance Jionni LaValle celebrated their happy news with a combo party. The expectant couple were spotted having a get-together with family and friends at the East Hanover, New Jersey house of LaValle's parents on Saturday, March 10 evening.
Snooki's parents, Andy and Helen Polizzi, arrived at the LaValle home carrying a huge bouquet of "congratulations" balloons and gifts. Her "Jersey Shore" co-star, JWoww, was also seen joining the festivity. Coming to the bash with fiance Roger Matthews, she brought a large box that might contain a cake with her.
After weeks of denials, Snooki officially confirmed through Us Weekly that she has gotten engaged to LaValle and is expecting their first child together. In an interview with the magazine, the 24-year-old explained why she held back on sharing the news before the end of her first trimester. "I wanted to make sure the baby is OK," she said. "Things can go wrong, like a miscarriage."
The reality star also spilled that her father wasn't happy with the news. "My dad was upset. He said, 'You have your whole life ahead of you.' We didn't talk for a week," she recalled. "He came around eventually, and now he can't wait for the baby." While her father needed time to accept her pregnancy, she gushed, "My mom is so happy for me."
