The 'Star Trek' actor, who has been on the producer's wish list for guest stars, will be speaking as Spock in Sheldon's dream.

AceShowbiz - "The Big Bang Theory" will make Sheldon's dream come true before this season ends. His hero Leonard Nimoy has been booked to make a cameo in the CBS comedy series' March 29 episode.

However, the "Star Trek" icon will not be seen on the said outing. TVLine reports that the 80-year-old actor will only be heard speaking to Jim Parsons' character in a dream sequence as his "Star Trek" character, Spock.

"For years, we thought it would be fantastic to have Leonard Nimoy appear on the show and we think we've found a really different and fun way to make that happen," executive producer Steve Molaro says when confirming Nimoy's cameo. "As thrilled as we are he's doing it, we're even more thrilled just to get our pictures taken with him."

Nimoy has been a dream guest star on "Big Bang Theory". He's often mentioned as Sheldon's obsession. Recently in the show's 100th episode, Sheldon was upset when he received a life-size cardboard cut-out of Zachary Quinto's Spock, not the Nimoy version.
