AceShowbiz - Mark Ruffalo unleashes his anger as The Hulk in a freshly released picture from "The Avengers". The high-resolution image gives a new look at the monstrous green creature as he lets loose his fearsome emotion and shows off his massive muscles while seemingly getting ready to launch an attack.

Ruffalo will bring The Hulk to life via motion-capture technology. Back in April 2011, the 44-year-old actor discussed the relationship between his character with other members of "The Avengers". He told MTV News, "He has an interesting thing with Black Widow, actually. And him and Tony Stark are...You know, he's like the fallen angel version of Tony Stark."

"He was the renegade professor who was kind of rebel, arrogant, kind of doing things that were unorthodox," said Ruffalo of Bruce Banner a.k.a The Hulk. "There's a real admiration between the two of them that's interesting, and Tony Stark really enjoys the idea of watching this guy turn into The Hulk. So he's nudging him in an interesting sort of way. There's a lot of nice, fun play between the two of them."

In "The Avengers", The Hulk along with Captain America, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow and Hawkeye will team up to fight the biggest foes no single hero could withstand. Directed by Joss Whedon, the movie is also supported by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.

Walt Disney Pictures has set May 4 as the day when the highly anticipated superhero ensemble film opens wide in theaters across the U.S.
