The 'Kourtney and Kim Take New York' star has 'reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson,' who has since redacted his allegations that her marriage to Kris Humphries was a sham.

AceShowbiz - Kim Kardashian can now move forward with her life without being bothered by claim that her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries was a hoax. The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star has finally reached a settlement with publicist Jonathan Jaxson, who made the allegations, and received public apology from him.
"Kim Kardashian is very happy to announce that she has reached a settlement of her claims against Jonathan Jaxson," said attorney Todd Wilson in a statement to E! News. "As part of the confidential settlement, Mr. Jaxson has issued a public apology to Kim. Kim is extremely pleased with the outcome of the matter."
On Tuesday, February 21, Jaxson took to his official blog to express his regret for spreading lies. "I wanted to apologize publicly to Kim Kardashian for any confusion that I may have caused by the personal statements I made recently regarding Kim Kardashian," he stated.
"I would like to further clarify that I did not have any first hand knowledge of Kim's relationship with Kris. Any statement I made regarding Kim and her marriage was my opinion only and was not intended to imply first hand knowledge of Kim's thoughts and feelings."
Jaxson, who claimed to have worked for Kardashian from 2007 to 2009, said the reality star's marriage was a publicity stunt after she announced her split from her husband of 72 days back in October 2011. "She knew they were going to make a lot of money from her wedding. It made them millions," he said at the time.
Kardashian fired back by serving Jaxson with a legal paper for violating a written agreement that they signed years ago. Through her attorney Marty Singer, the 31-year-old submitted papers to a private arbitration in which it is stated that her reputation has been damaged by his allegedly defamatory statements.
