News of the mansion selling comes out after it was reported that the former judge on 'The X Factor (US)' has agreed to pay $900,000 settlement in a driveway accident settlement.

AceShowbiz - Paula Abdul is looking forward to selling her home in Sherman Oaks, Los Angeles. The TV personality, who once served as a judge on "American Idol" and "The X Factor (US)", has just put her 4,679-square-foot contemporary Mediterranean mansion on the market, listing it at $1.9 million.

Built in 2000, the gated two-story house is located in between Deervale-Stone Canyon Park and Fossil Ridge Park. It features a grand entry with a double staircase, French doors opening to patio and pool areas, five bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Its master suite also boasts a fireplace and a balcony with canyon and city views.

The news that the mansion has been put for sale came after it was reported that Abdul has settled her driveway accident lawsuit. An attorney for Jill Kohl, the woman who claimed to have suffered a nasty fall in Abdul's driveway during "Hey Paula" filming, said on Wednesday, February 22 that the "Straight Up" singer has agreed to pay a $900,000 settlement.

Kohl's lawyer, Robert Rodriguez Clayton, also noted that Kohl will also receive another $100,000 from Scott Sternberg Productions, the company that made Abdul's short-lived reality show. Abdul's attorney, however, insisted that the 48-year-old will not personally pay the settlement. Attorney Vicki Greco said, "Absolutely no monies of the settlement will be paid by Paula Abdul."

"All monies agreed to be paid to Jill Kohl as part of the settlement will be funded by the parties' respective insurance carriers," Greco further explained. "While a settlement was reached between the parties in the case, we were confident that she would prevail at trial. The decision to settle the case was a business decision made solely by Ms. Abdul's insurance carrier."
