Both of the videos which are meant to celebrate the lives and legacies of Whitney and Amy are introduced by host James Corden.

AceShowbiz - Amidst the blitz and glitz of 2012 BRIT Awards on Tuesday night, February 21, people at the O2 Arena took a moment to pay tribute to two great artists Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. Each of the late singers were remembered in a moving montage video.

Host James Corden reminded people of how shocked they were "by the untimely passing of the legendary Whitney Houston." He added, "She not only inspired the world with her incredible voice but also influenced many of the artists here with us tonight." When introducing Amy's tribute, he also noted how great the jazz singer was.

This year, BRIT Awards were dominated by locals, Adele and Ed Sheeran, with two kudos each. The former took home Best British Female and Best British Album, while the latter got Best British Male and British Breakthrough Act.

Another winner was Bruno Mars who received Best International Male from Jessie J and Jack Whitehall. "Yeah!" he enthused before jokingly said the award "is almost taller" than him. Later in the evening, he returned to the stage to perform "Just the Way You Are". He announced on stage, "I love you, I'll be back soon with a second album!"
