Video: Zac Efron Eludes Question About Lily Collins on 'Ellen'
Celebrity

The actor voicing Ted in 'The Lorax' cleverly avoids mentioning the 'Mirror Mirror' actress when asked to name his Valentine's Day date during a recent appearance on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'.

AceShowbiz - Zac Efron keeps playing it coy when it comes to his rumored romance with Lily Collins. The "New Year's Eve" actor was asked how he spent his Valentine's Day when chatting with Ellen DeGeneres for an upcoming episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show", and did his best not to mention her name.

In an interview to air Thursday, February 23, the 24-year-old hunk told Ellen, "I went to a screening of a film that I did called 'Liberal Arts'. And then, um, cooked some dinner." When quizzed with whom he did it, he simply said, "With a friend." As Ellen pressed further by asking, "What's her name?", he was quick to say, "Ellen," prompting the host to joke, "That's right, we're together."

During the sitdown, Ellen also threw the same question to Efron's co-star in "The Lorax", Taylor Swift. The "Back to December" singer responded by admitting she got together with her single girlfriends and threw a Pathetic Single Girls party where they ate junk food, danced and "made these little profile cards about why we're single."

Efron was romantically linked to Collins in early February. At the time, the two were spotted holding hands as they attended a friend's birthday party together at STK restaurant in West Hollywood. They were seen together again when they were leaving the Soho House in West Hollywood a few days later on February 14.
