Other winners at the music categories of the 43rd Annual NAACP Image Awards include Jill Scott, Cee-Lo Green, Diggy Simmons, Mary J. Blige and Drake.

AceShowbiz - Jennifer Hudson won big at the 43rd Annual NAACP Image Awards. The finalist of "American Idol" season 3 pocketed two coveted prizes, Outstanding Music Video for "Where You At" clip and Outstanding Album for "I Remember Me".
In the former category, J-Hud beat Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Beyonce Knowles and Adele. In winning the latter kudo, she once again defeated Jill and Beyonce in addition to besting two other competitors, Chris Brown and Lupe Fiasco.
Beyonce who dominated the nomination list with four nods missed all of them, but Jill who also got four noms still managed to grab one prize, Outstanding Female Artist. She took home the title after winning a battle against Queen Bey, J-Hud, Mary J. and Ledisi.
Other winners include Diggy Simmons and Cee-Lo Green. The young rapper blocked the likes of Mindless Behavior and Wynter Gordon from taking Outstanding New Artist title, while the Goodie Mob star won Outstanding Male Artist over Breezy, Common, Bruno Mars and Anthony Hamilton.
Mary J. also received one gong. Through her collaboration with Drake, she brought home Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration prize. She pushed aside Cee-Lo & Melanie Fiona, Sounds of Blackness, Boyz II Men and The Roots.
2012 NAACP Image Awards aired Friday, February 17. Continuing its tradition to celebrate "the accomplishments of people of color," the event also honored the best in movie, TV and literature. It additionally awarded George Lucas with Vanguard Award, and celebrated the life and legacy of Whitney Houston.
