'Wanderlust' L.A. Premiere: Jennifer Aniston Looks Chic, Malin Akerman Daring
Movie

The leading lady of the David Wain-directed comedy keeps her distance from boyfriend Justin Theroux on the red carpet, but makes time to pose with her other co-stars, including Paul Rudd.

AceShowbiz - "Wanderlust" has got its red carpet treatment. The David-Wain-directed comedy held its Los Angeles premiere at the Mann Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Thursday, February 16, and some of its stars, namely Jennifer Aniston and Malin Akerman, turned head in their dress.

Aniston, who takes the lead role of Linda, presented a chic look when hitting the red carpet. She opted to wear a black-and-white strapless number by Tom Ford that features leather trim and a mix of checkered and zigzag patterns. She kept her hair down and finished off the look with a pair of black pumps.

Although her boyfriend/co-star Justin Theroux also attended the premiere, Aniston kept their distance on the red carpet. Instead of posing with him, the 43-year-old made time to greet and struck poses with Akerman, who chose to go with a daring Sonia Rykiel dress that has an open front and back.

Aniston was also joined on the red carpet by her on-screen love interest, Paul Rudd, as well as producer Judd Apatow and his wife Leslie Mann. She also posed separately with Kathryn Hahn, who takes on the role of Karen in the comedy movie which will be released in the United States on February 24.

Other cast members spotted coming to the premiere included Joe Lo Truglio, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Jordan Peele, Michaela Watkins, Linda Lavin and Ray Liotta. "Inglourious Basterds" actor Samm Levine and "No Strings Attached" actress Lake Bell, meanwhile, were among the celebrity guests.

"Wanderlust" is a raucous comedy about an overextended, stressed out Manhattan couple, George and Linda. After George is downsized out of his job, the two find themselves with only one option; to move in with his brother in Atlanta. Along the way, they stumble upon Elysium, an idyllic community populated by colorful characters who embrace a different way of looking at things.
