'Jersey Shore' Spin-Off Not Getting Filming Permit From Hoboken

Meanwhile, Snooki is outraged that state's governor, Chris Christie, has judged her and her 'Jersey Shore' gang without even meeting them in person.

AceShowbiz - The spin-off of "Jersey Shore" starring Snooki and J-Woww has met a blocking stone. The producers failed to secure a permit to film in Hoboken, New Jersey because the mayor, Dawn Zimmer, made the decision "based on protecting public safety and quality of life concerns for Hoboken residents."

"I write to put you, 495 Productions, MTV and Viacom on formal notice that there will be zero tolerance for this kind of approach in the City of Hoboken," Zimmer said in a written letter to one of the show's producers, Jim Bianco. "Any attempts to film in a manner that is not permitted without a permit will be dealt with immediately and aggressively."

Snooki is unhappy about this, declaring a war against the state's governor, Chris Christie, in particular. "I will not be voting for Chris Christie. Love always, the 'buffoons' from that degrading Jersey Shore show," the pint-sized star said about electing Christie as president. She added, "I DEF don't want a judgmental president who has NEVER met me in person. F that."

Back in September, Christie blocked the producers of "Jersey Shore" from receiving a massive tax credit because the show "does nothing more than perpetuate misconceptions about the state and its citizens."
