AceShowbiz - McG's adult rom-com pic "This Means War" has been premiered in London on Monday night, January 30. Stealing the spotlight at the special screening event were the three lead actors, Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, who brought charms to the red carpet that was rolled out outside the Odeon Kensington Cinema in the capital of England.
Leading lady Witherspoon became the belle of the ball with her simple-but-chic look. The blond beauty donned a classy black and green sequined Louis Vuitton mini dress that she paired with plain black suede heels. She was seen all smiles while posing for the cameramen and signing autographs for her swarming fans.
Pine and Hardy also grabbed the limelight as they stepped on the red carpet. The former oozed masculinity in a stripped black suit, while the latter sported mustache and beard and wore a long suit that he combined with a matching royal blue tie and a red scarf. Hardy was joined by his girlfriend Charlotte Riley, who looked elegant in a black dress with ribbon details on the front.
Also spotted on the red carpet was director McG, who arrived together with his leading lady Bridget Moynahan. The filmmaker opted to go with a dark blue suit and checkered shirt, while his girlfriend looked gorgeous in a pastel-colored blazer that she paired with black scarf and trousers.
In "This Means War", Pine and Hardy star as two world's deadliest CIA agents, who are also inseparable partners and best friends. Their bond is shattered when they find out that they fall in love with the same woman (Witherspoon). Having once helped bring down entire enemy nations, they are now employing their incomparable skills and an endless array of high-tech gadgetry against their greatest nemesis ever; each other.
This forthcoming movie was originally given an R rating by the Classification and Rating Appeals Board. However, on Thursday, January 26, the film has been readjusted to secure the less-restrictive PG-13 rating. 20th Century Fox has agreed to tone down some sexual contents, including the lewd jokes made by Chelsea Handler's character, Trish.
Due to open in the U.S. theaters on Valentine's Day, February 14, the comedy movie is also supported by Abigail Spencer, Til Schweiger and John Paul Ruttan.
