Marvel Announces 'The Avengers' Twitter Live-Chat Event, Confirms Super Bowl Spot

In a written statement, Marvel Studios confirms that Joss Whedon, Tom Hiddleston and Clark Gregg will be on hand to support the January 31 online Q and A event on Twitter.

The Earth's Mightiest Heroes' fanboys will have a special chance to chat with "" director and cast members on Twitter. Marvel Studios has announced on Friday, January 27 that the highly anticipated superhero movie will have a live-chat event on the social networking site. The studio additionally confirmed to unleash an exclusive Super Bowl spot for the film during the event.

The Global Twitter Chat event will take place on Tuesday, January 31 at 11 A.M. PST. Director/writer Joss Whedon as well as (who stars as Loki) and (who plays Agent Phil Coulson) will be on hand to support the 30-minute live tweeting event, which is going to be moderated by Marvel's @Agent_M.

"Avengers" fans around the world could take part in the Q&A session by simply using the @Avengers handle and the #Avengers hashtag. International fans will be able to submit their questions for the talents in their native language by using a global translation tool provided by Ortsbo.com.

Participating fanboys will get a special treat to view a 10-second teaser from the 30-second "Avengers" Super Bowl spot that will air during Super Bowl XLVI on February 5 on NBC. The fans will additionally be invited to answer "Avengers" trivia to grab a chance in winning a special prize packs from the Marvel superhero movie.

In "The Avengers", Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye must team up to fight the biggest foes no single hero could withstand. The highly anticipated superhero ensemble movie is due to arrive in the U.S. theaters on May 4. The film is also supported by , , , , , and .
