Jeremy Dussolliet and Tim Sommers are sued by Christine Dominguez, who claims she co-wrote the single but received no credit and royalty for her contribution.

AceShowbiz - Producers behind B.o.B's hit single "Airplanes" have landed in hot water. Jeremy Dussolliet and Tim Sommers, who work under the moniker Kinetics & One Love, are sued by a songwriter named Christine Dominguez for an alleged copyright infringement over the Grammy-nominated single, according to AllHipHop.

In the lawsuit filed January 23 in District Court of New York, Dominguez claimed she contributed to the co-writing of the single back in 2008. She received credit for her work when an alternate version of the song was released in the producers' 2009 CD entitled "Kinetics & One Love: Fading Back to Normal."

When two versions of the single appeared in B.o.B.'s debut album "B.o.B Presents The Adventures of Bobby Ray", however, she's snubbed and cut out of all royalties. Due to this mishap, she's suing for unfair competition, unjust enrichment, and failure to account for revenues derived from sampling or other use of the song.

"In a transparent effort to keep all the credit and earnings for themselves despite Dominguez' substantial contribution to the joint work, defendants omitted her from the listing as the author of 'Airplanes' on the 2010 release and elsewhere. Nor have defendants accounted to Dominguez for revenues derived, either from the 2010 release, or any other source," it's explained in the suit.
