Occupy Wall Street Album Adds Yoko Ono and Tom Morello in Official Lineup

The upcoming album, which will benefit the Occupy movement, additionally includes Willie Nelson, Steve Earle, Debbie Harry and Michael Moore.

Since being announced last November, Occupy Wall Street benefit album has been confirmed to feature , , , Crosby & Nash and . More stars involved in the fund-raising effort are now revealed via its official lineup.

's widow and 's are two of the newly-confirmed artists who will contribute to the project dubbed "Occupy This Album". Those stars are joined by the likes of , Steve Earle, , Michael Moore and Ladytron.

The album is expected to be released later this spring with "all proceeds above board attained through the production and distribution of (the album)" going "directly towards the needs of sustaining this growing movement." Created by Robert Grossman, its cover art boasts an illustration that reflects the movement.

How all those stars came together to record the album? Producer Jason Samel told Screen, "The first to contact me were Michael Moore's people. After he came along, we just started calling a whole bunch of different musicians and everybody said 'wow, just tell me who we talk to.' Later, at a concert, he explained the project to a woman who responded, 'Oh I run a recording studio down the block from here'."

Then, "new major and minor artists came every day," he added. "We have hip hop. We have reggae. We have rock. We have musicians who are in Zucotti Park playing on the steps. We have people who are homeless. We have people from all over the world. We're even listening to some show tunes."
