AceShowbiz - Contrary to reports, Jay-Z never vowed to stop using word "b***h" in his songs. The rap mogul was previously rumored to have written a poem that mentioned the birth of his daughter inspired him to drop the rude word from his lyrics, but a source close to the new dad denied it.
The insider set the record straight to E! Online. The source insisted that the poem, which was claimed to be a tribute to the newborn baby, was not penned by the husband of Beyonce Knowles.
Fellow musician Questlove additionally tweeted that he has got the denial from the Jigga himself. The drummer of The Roots wrote on his account, "This just in: @S_C_ to me: "B*aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaatch!!!!!!!! and tweet that."
Jay-Z and Beyonce welcomed Blue Ivy Carter on Saturday, January 7. A few days after the rapper released an ode song called "Glory", there was a poem which made its round on the web. It was believed to be another tribute he wrote for her daughter, and quickly picked up by the media.
"Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich, I didn't think hard about using the word b**h," it read. "I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it. I never realized while on the fast track that I'd give riddance to the word b***h, to leave her innocence in tact."
