The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' patriarch is snapped with stitches on the side of his face when attending the game between the Dallas Mavericks and the Los Angeles Lakers.

AceShowbiz - Bruce Jenner did not go under the knife to have more cosmetic surgery after all. The step-father of Kim Kardashian sparked the buzz after he was spotted with fresh scar on the side of his face during the Monday, January 16's Lakers-Mavericks game, but it turns out that he got the stitches from a skin cancer removal surgery.

TMZ, which was first to bring up the news, reported that 62-year-old Bruce underwent the surgery on Friday, January 13. The former Olympian first went to a dermatologist after noticing a red mark on his face. The doctor removed a piece of it, and a biopsy determined it to be cancerous.

Fortunately, Bruce caught the skin cancer in time. A family source told Us Weekly, "They got it all, he's OK." Following the removal of a chunk of his right cheek, the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" patriarch went to an outpatient facility. He was also advised to stay covered up whenever he goes out in the sun.

Bruce himself is no stranger to plastic surgery. He had admitted to have cosmetic works in the past, including a facelift in 2009. On Monday, he joined wife Kris Jenner and stepdaughter Khloe Kardashian at the Staples Center to watch Khloe's husband Lamar Odom played with the Mavericks on a game against the Lakers.
