The 'Billy Elliot' actor and the 'We Need to Talk About Kevin' actress are in talks to star in the high-profile movie project, in which Evans has been eyed to tackle the lead role.

AceShowbiz - "Snowpiercer" is eyeing more actors to star in it. Shortly after it was reported that Chris Evans is in talks to portray the lead role in the novel-adapted movie, Variety broke the news that Jamie Bell and Tilda Swinton are poised to star in it as well. Nonetheless, details of what roles they will tackle are still unclear.

The movie is adapted from Jean-Marc Rochette's French graphic novel called "Le Transperceneige". Set in a world covered in snow and ice, the story focuses on a train that is filled with surviving humans on Earth after a massive nuclear war.

Serving as the helmer of this forthcoming film is South Korean A-list director Bong Joon-ho, who will make his English language debut through this project. Joon-ho also co-writes the script along with Park Chan-wook, who directed the original version of Korean cult classic "Oldboy", which will be adapted to Hollywood by Spike Lee.

Bell recently lent his voice to the titular character in Steven Spielberg's animation "The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn". He will soon be seen starring opposite Sam Worthington in "Man on a Ledge". As for Swinton, the Oscar winner was last seen in "We Need to Talk About Kevin" and will next be seen in Wes Anderson's drama "Moonrise Kingdom".
