Shortly after Madge was announced as the winner of the award, David Furnish takes to his Facebook account and writes, 'Madonna. Best song???? F**** off!!!'

AceShowbiz - Madonna has beaten Elton John in winning the Golden Globe award for Best Original Song on Sunday, January 15. However, Elton and his partner David Furnish seemed to be unhappy with the Material Girl's victory. Shortly after Madge received her trophy, Furnish took to his Facebook page to trash her.

"Madonna. Best song???? F**** off!!!," so Furnish wrote. Minutes later, he went on ranting, "Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows how these awards have nothing to do with merit. Her acceptance speech was embarrasing in its narcissism. And her criticism of [Lady] GaGa shows how desperate she really is."

Previously, the Queen of Pop implied that Lady GaGa, who is Elton's duet partner on "Hello Hello", ripped off her song "Express Yourself" for "Born This Way", which she branded "reductive." Elton then took a jab at the diva when hitting the red carpet of the Golden Globe awards. He told reporters that she "doesn't have a f***ing chance of winning tonight."

Responding to Elton's statement, Madonna said, "Was he wearing a dress?... May the best man win." She, however, hoped that there will be no hard feelings between her and the veteran musician. "I hope he speaks to me for the next couple of years. He's been known to get mad at me so I don't know," she said backstage. "He's brilliant and I adore him so he'll win another award. I don't feel bad!"

Madonna and Elton were both nominated for the Best Original Song at the Golden Globe Awards 2012. The "Like a Virgin" hitmaker won the kudo for her single "Masterpiece", which is the original song of her directorial movie "W.E.". Elton, meanwhile, was nominated for his song "Hello Hello" in animated feature "Gnomeo and Juliet".
