While the 'Mr. Know It All' singer is set to sing 'The Star-Spangled Banner', Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are expected to perform 'America the Beautiful'.

AceShowbiz - Kelly Clarkson is going to perform "The Star-Spangled Banner" at the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI. The NFL hasn't issued official statement, but the winner of "American Idol" first season herself has re-tweeted news run by the Associated Press about her gig at the football championship game.

While Clarkson is tapped to deliver the national anthem, country music couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are scheduled to make a duet in singing "America the Beautiful". According to a source familiar with Super Bowl entertainment plans, official announcement will made later this month.

Coincidentally, Clarkson has been tapped as one of the guest mentors in the upcoming season of "The Voice" to team up with Lambert in helping Shelton coach his team. The other guest mentors are Lionel Richie, Jewel Kilcher, Babyface, Ne-Yo, Alanis Morissette and Robin Thicke.

Super Bowl XLVI itself is going to take place at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind. on February 5. Madonna is confirmed to perform during the halftime show. The Material Girl is expected to sing her new single "Gimme All Your Luvin' " along with her two female featured guests, M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj.
