AceShowbiz - One "Breaking Bad" star is stepping closer to walking down the aisle. Aaron Paul, the actor who portrays troubled drug addict Jesse Pinkman on the AMC drama, has gotten engaged to his activist girlfriend, Lauren Parsekian. His representative confirmed the happy news on Monday, January 9.
Parsekian herself revealed through her Facebook page that Paul popped the question in Paris on New Year's Eve. The Co-CEO of "Finding Kind Productions" wrote, "Coming back home today with my fiance!!! NYE proposal in Paris ... Couldn't be more perfect. I'm so happy and excited and honored to share my life with the most amazing man on the planet."
Her mother, Debra Kelly Persekian, also took to Facebook to express her blessing. "Dearest Lauren, we love you so much and couldn't be more thrilled that you have found your perfect soul mate," she noted. "We love Aaron and his family, and feel blessed that this will be a perfect union. Just being around the two of you in love is an inspiration to us all."
According to E! News, Paul and Parsekian have been dating for less than a year. A source claimed that the twosome "have been really lovey-dovey from the start." As for the engagement ring, the source spilled that it "is huge and gorgeous," adding that 24-year-old Parsekian appears "super happy."
Before romancing Parsekian, Paul dated "90210" star Jessica Lowndes in 2010. Romantic life aside, the 32-year-old actor, who won an Emmy for his role as Pinkman, will be seen in the indie drama "Smashed, which will screen at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival this January.
