While his brother Damon thinks they have to be smarter to beat the Original vampire, Stefan insists that the only way to handle the villain is to be the better villain.

AceShowbiz - Stefan and Damon are arguing over the best way to handle Klaus in the next "The Vampire Diaries". The older Salvatore thinks they have to be smarter to beat the evil vampire, but his brother believes that in order to face the villain, they have to be the better villain.
Deciding to test his theory, a reckless Stefan takes things to dangerous extremes. He tells Klaus to get his allies out of Mystic Falls, or he will remove them himself. Meanwhile, Elena says that she cannot lose another person she loves.
"Our Town" will air Thursday, January 12 at 8/7c on The CW. Also in the episode, Elena, Bonnie and Matt surprise Caroline with a small party in an unusual location although Caroline is in no mood to celebrate her 18th birthday. Bonnie is concerned when Elena tells her about Jeremy's new plans, and Tyler refuses to go along with Klaus' latest demand.
In an episode to air the following week, Persia White will make her first appearance as Bonnie's estranged mother. The first look at the character, Abby Bennet, has now landed online via Entertainment Weekly.
"There's going to be some unanswered questions that Bonnie's gonna have," Katerina Graham talked the January 19 outing, which has an important moment for her character Bonnie. "A lot of those questions will get answered and you will find out where her mom's heart is and why she has to come back into Bonnie's life. And that whole thing will surprise you, too, because it's not what people think."
