The band fronted by Zac Brown score their eighth No. 1 single by ruling Billboard Country Songs with their latest offering, 'Keep Me in Mind'.

AceShowbiz - Zac Brown Band continue to shine. The country music group close their eventful year on the chart and on the road by nicely ruling Billboard Country Songs. They reign the list with "Keep Me in Mind", which is taken from their second major-label studio album "You Get What You Give".

A funky/bluesy love song, the single actually has been made available for digital download since September 2012, but it's not officially released as a single until a year later. By ruling the chart this week, it gives Zac Brown and his bandmates their eighth No. 1 single.

This Grammy-winning band have a quite impressive performance on the Billboard chart. Starting four years ago, they busted the chart by ruling with "Chicken Fried" before following it up with seven other No. 1 singles including the most recent one, "Keep Me in Mind".

The only single that didn't make it to the top is "Whatever It Is", which is taken from their debut album "The Foundation". Still, the song which was released in 2009 as a follow-up to the "Chicken Fried" nicely peaked at No. 2 and was certified Gold for selling more than half a million copies.

In comparison, Keith Urban placed his first 12 songs on top 5, but only seven which ruled the chart. Taylor Swift got her first 14 songs on top 10, but only five of them which went to the top. Meanwhile, Sugarland had 10 of their first 11 songs on top 10, but only five which peaked at No. 1.

Celebrating the New Year of 2012, Zac Brown Band were checking in live from Atlanta on CNN for New Year's Eve Live special with Anderson Cooper and Kathy Griffin.
