After releasing a snippet and cover art for his brand new single "Better Than I Know Myself", Adam Lambert wastes no time to unleash its official audio stream in full. The "Whataya Want From Me" hitmaker sings his devotion to a lover in finely-tuned voice which smoothly rises to a powerful notch when reaching the hook.

"Cold as ice, and more bitter than a December winter night/That's how I treated you, and I know that I, I sometimes tend to lose my temper/And I cross the line, yeah that's the truth," 29-year-old Lambert kicks in the fresh track by showing off what his flaws are. "I know it gets hard sometimes, but I could never leave your side/ No matter what I say."

However, no matter how "obnoxious" he can be sometimes, he promises they would go through the ups and downs together. "If I wanted to go, I would have gone by now/ I really need you near me to keep my mind off the edge," he belts out in the chorus. "If I wanted to leave, I would have left by now/ But you're the only one who knows me better than I know myself."

"Better Than I Know Myself" is the first official offering from Adam Lambert's upcoming second studio album "Trespassing" which is slated to come out in the United States on March 20, 2012. It is set to be made available for digital download next Tuesday, December 20.

Lambert will serve as an executive producer in the album. He promises to take his devotees to "an exciting journey through the past two years" of his life. He adds, "It's been a transformative period and I really wanted to make music from what I've experienced. All these songs honestly explore the ups and downs of my reality."

Beside producing the effort, Lambert also co-writes many of the tracks. He collaborates with an all-star list of award winning artists, producers and songwriters including Pharrell Williams, Dr. Luke, Claude Kelly, Benny Blanco, Bonnie McKee, Nile Rogers, Sam Sparro, Bruno Mars, Nikka Costa and BC Jean.
