AceShowbiz - "Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol" has been premiered in Dubai, UAE on Thursday, December 7 as a part of the 2011 Dubai International Film Festival. Lead actor Tom Cruise and his pretty co-star Paula Patton became the center of attention as they hit the red carpet of the special screening event taking place at the Madinat Jumeriah Complex.

Cruise oozed his masculinity in a sleek two-piece black suit paired with a tieless white shirt. The husband of actress Katie Holmes was all smiles as he posed for the swarming photographers and signed autographs for his screaming fans.

Earlier before the premiere took place, Cruise attended a press conference in the city where he explained about doing the Burj Khalifa stunt for the action film. "The moment on the Burj, when I saw the rope, I remember just thinking this is the moment of truth," he admitted. "There's one thing seeing it and another thing trying to accomplish that. I remember that I didn't quite make it the first time and came slamming into the building."

Back on the red carpet, Cruise's female co-star Patton became the belle of the ball on the evening. The brunette beauty glammed up in an orange maxi tube dress with details on the waist. The 36-year-old actress, who plays Jane Carter in the film, finished off her gorgeous look with a pair of long earrings.

Cruise and Patton were joined by English actor Simon Pegg and Bollywood veteran Anil Kapoor. Both male co-stars looked dapper in their black suits completed with bowties. Director Brad Bird was also spotted attending the gala event.

The Dubai premiere of "Mission: Impossible 4" was a part of the promotional tour for the action movie. After holding a special screening in Arab, Cruise and co. are expected to premiere the film in several other countries, including Russia, Mexico, Brazil and the U.S.

To open wide in theaters across the nation on December 21, the fourth "Mission Impossible" movie follows Cruise's Ethan Hunt and his "Ghost Protocol" team who must go off the grid to clear their organization's name after they were accused of being involved in a global terrorist bombing plot. This time, they have to do the important mission with no help and no contact.

Also supporting the high-octane action film are Jeremy Renner, Ving Rhames, Josh Holloway, Lea Seydoux, Tom Wilkinson, Vladimir Mashkov and Samuli Edelmann.
