'Dallas' Debuts New Dramatic Trailer
TV

The video captures the ups and downs in the Ewings' lives, and features the old and new cast sitting together to discuss the show.

AceShowbiz - Winter is just coming, but TNT has been promoting its summer series "Dallas" by debuting a new trailer. It shares some new scenes which highlight the dramas revolving the Ewing clan. In between the show's footage, new and old faces are seen gathering on a roundtable to discuss what makes the show special.

The upcoming show will serve as a continuation to the 1980s prime time soap opera of the same title. It still revolves around the Ewings, a wealthy Texas family in the oil and cattle-ranching industries.

The updated version focuses on J.R. Ewing's son John Ross Ewing III (Josh Henderson), and Bobby Ewing's adopted son Christopher Ewing (Jesse Metcalfe). Now grown, John has become almost a carbon copy of his father, bent on oil, money and greed. Christopher, meanwhile, has become a lot like Bobby, in that he is more interested in the upkeep of Southfork Ranch.

Larry Hagman will return as J.R. Ewing, while Patrick Duffy will reprise his role as Bobby. Other original stars supporting the new drama series are Linda Gray, Charlene Tilton and Ray Krebbs, while the new faces include Jordana Brewster and Julie Gonzalo.
