Walt Disney Pictures has just debuted the full trailer for "". While the first teaser features less dialog and centers on how the titular character gets transported to Mars a.k.a Barsoom, this brand new sneak-peek focuses on how the hero gets involved in the Barsoomian war itself.

Opening with a scene where Carter slaughters the fearsome White Ape, the video continues to deliver plenty heroic battle scenes between Carter's allies and the well-armored belligerent troops. It additionally provides a better look at the exotic planet and its unique inhabitants.

tackles the part of John Carter, a former military captain who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet. In a world on the brink of collapse, he rediscovers his humanity as he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.

Based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' classic novel, "John Carter" is directed and co-written by Andrew Stanton. Joining Kitsch in the cast ensemble are , , , , and . The fantasy film will hit U.S. theaters on March 9, 2012.
