AceShowbiz - America's favorite puppets want to wish their fans a happy Thanksgiving. A day after invading U.S. theaters, "The Muppets" are sending a special e-card that features the Swedish Chef boiling up a pot of turkey with a message that reads, "Whether you're cooking, or someone's having you for dinner, we wish you and yours a very happy Thanksgiving!"
The puppets returned to the big screen after years of hiatus on this year's Thanksgiving weekend. In their new movie, the gang must team up with Jason Segel and Amy Adams to stop Chris Cooper's evil plan to the Muppet Theater and drill for the oil recently discovered beneath the Muppets' former stomping grounds.
Directed by James Bobin, "The Muppets" features plenty of cameos from famous celebrities like Selena Gomez, Whoopi Goldberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Dave Grohl, John Krasinski and Sarah Silverman among others. This family comedy film has been opened wide starting Wednesday, November 23.
