AceShowbiz - Red Hot Chili Peppers have debuted a second music video from their comeback album "I'm With You". The band fronted by Anthony Kiedis release the cartoonish clip, which is directed by Marc Klasfeld, to support their latest single called "Monarchy of Roses".
RHCP take their fans into a black-and-white animated world which is drawn like a surrealistic comic book and filled with random thoughts, such as "it's my heart, leave it alone." There is also a stripper standing next to a quote which says, "one can't stay on the straight and narrow path forever."
The band take inspiration from Raymond Pettibon, a Californian artist who helped build the L.A. punk scene they grew up in. The 54-year-old artist was well known for designing album covers, logos and flyers for Black Flag, SST Records, and many other artists in the late '70s/early '80s.
