"The X Factor (US)" returned with the top 11 performance show on Wednesday night, November 9. While the judges sang praises to most of the contestants, they could not help dissing each other with their comments.

Paula Abdul, for instance, admitted she was blown away by Drew who opted to sing Coldplay's "Fix You", but criticized her mentor Simon Cowell for picking a gown that "took the seriousness away." Simon denied he had anything to do with the costume and revealed "Drew designed that dress," making Paula "feel really bad."

L.A. Reid also dissed Simon's fashion taste when the former "American Idol" judge told Marcus Canty to dress himself from now on. Coming in the aspiring singer's defense, his mentor L.A. said, "You have better taste than some people that sit at the end of this desk... Not Simon. I'm talking about myself, actually."

Simon, meanwhile, was not into the way Nicole Scherzinger directed Josh Krajcik and the backup singers to look like "Dracula and his brides," to which the former member of The Pussycat Dolls replied, "Simon, don't hate, just congratulate."

Simon later took a jab at Paula for making The Stereo Hoggz, who survived the elimination last week, less current for a future recording artist. The British music mogul additionally slammed Nicole for calling the group's performance "bananas." He sarcastically commented, "Really digging deep there."

Despite their snappy comments, the judges still found themselves agreeing each other when it came to LeRoy Bell, Chris Rene, Melanie Amaro, Astro, Rachel Crow and Lakoda Rayne's performances. As for Stacy Francis', L.A. did not like her version of Whitney Houston's "Queen of the Night".

One of these 11 finalists will be sent home on Thursday, November 10's result show. Set to cater the audience that night are Willow Smith and Jessie J.
