The hosts of the 45th annual Country Music Association Awards sing their duet song in front of the star-studded audience filling the Bridgestone Arena.

AceShowbiz - Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood pulled a double duty at the 45th annual Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. Beside serving as hosts during the November 9 show, the duo also rocked the stage of the Bridgestone Arena by doing a duet on "Remind Me".

Wearing an all-black ensemble and a white cowboy hat, "Old Alabama" singer Brad kicked off the set while strumming his guitar. Former "American Idol" contestant Carrie, who looked stunning in a beautiful cheetah-printed long dress, followed suit by belting out her lyrics.

This year marked the fourth time Brad and Carrie hosted the awards show. During the Wednesday show, the duo joined "Modern Family" star Eric Stonestreet to crack a joke about today's hot topics including the short-lived marriage of Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries.

"I think you forget to sing a song about what's weighing on everyone's mind in this room," Eric said. He then sang with them, "I'm going to love you forever, or 72 days Amen, as long as Justin Bieber is not a conceiver, as long as Taylor Swift is with her current boyfriend."

Brad and Carrie, unfortunately, received no award that night. The former actually got five nominations including Entertainer of the Year which he lost to Taylor. The latter, meanwhile, vied for Female Vocalist of the Year, but she had to give it up to last year's winner Miranda Lambert.

CMA Awards was additionally made merry with live performances from Taylor, Sugarland, Scotty McCreery, Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Sara Evans, Martina McBride, Faith Hill, Lady Antebellum and Natasha Bedingfield among other stars.
