New 'Snow White and the Huntsman' Banner Highlights the Film's Fantasy World

The three-way banner sees Snow White, Huntsman as well as villainous Evil Queen standing in different backgrounds that represent the atmosphere of the fantasy world in the film.

AceShowbiz - Universal Pictures has unveiled a brand new three-way banner for "Snow White and the Huntsman". The fresh artwork centers on three lead characters, who are Snow White, Huntsman and the Evil Queen a.k.a Ravenna, in the Rupert Sanders fairy tale-adapted film. The picture also gives a hint at the fantasy world of the film.

In the image, Kristen Stewart's Snow White is seen standing alone in the woods with a dagger in her hand, while Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman is seen holding his axe as he stands among tree branches. As for Charlize Theron's Evil Queen, the villainous character looks fierce as she stands against a dark background where there is a war happening and plenty of black ravens flying around.

"Snow White and the Huntsman" tells a twisted story of the classic fair-skinned princess tale. While the Grimm story presents Snow White as a lovely-singing princess, this movie features the female royal as a tough woman. She fights and defends herself against the Evil Queen under the guidance of the Huntsman a.k.a Eric.

In a recent interview on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno", Stewart shared that she punched Hemsworth in the face while shooting the film. The 21-year-old film beauty said, "I [punched Hemsworth in the face]. I did. It made such a sound, it was in a scene. Girls, if you've ever wondered if it works, it works."

The Bella Swan of the "Twilight Saga" film series went on adding, "It literally spun him right around. I was supposed to miss him by this much. I basically knocked him right out of his close-up. It'll definitely be in the movie."

To open wide in U.S. theaters on June 1, 2012, "Snow White and the Huntsman" also stars Sam Claflin, Ian McShane, Sam Spruell, Noah Huntley, as well as Liberty Ross. Serving as the screenwriters are Hossein Amini, Evan Spiliotopoulos and Evan Daugherty.
