The fresh red band and green band trailers for the Michael Dowse-directed movie highlight the scenes wherein William Scott's Doug Glatt gets involved in a fight on and off the ice rink.

AceShowbiz - New green band and red band trailers for "Goon" have been unleashed. Filled with plenty R-rated fighting scenes, these brand new promo videos revolve around Seann William Scott's Doug Glatt who is recruited by a local hockey team though he lacks basic skating skills.

The green band trailer opens with Doug and his hockey fanatic friend appearing in an interactive show during which a hockey coach makes a call to invite Doug to tryout with his hockey team. The red band, meanwhile, highlights many of brutal fighting scenes on and off the ice rink. Both trailers also give a look at Doug's love interest as well as his ultimate nemesis.

"Goon" centers on Doug, an outcast bouncer who overcomes long odds to lead a team of underperforming misfits to semi-pro hockey glory, beating out of everything that stands in his way. It is based on a book called "Goon: The True Story of an Unlikely Journey into Minor League Hockey".

To open in U.S. theaters on March 30, 2012, this hockey comedy is directed by Canadian filmmaker Michael Dowse. In addition to William Scott, it stars Jay Baruchel, Alison Pill, Liev Schreiber, Marc-Andre Grondin and Eugene Levy. Baruchel also co-wrote the script with Evan Goldberg.
