Though she has until November 9 to check herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, the 'Machete' actress turned herself in on Sunday, November 6.

AceShowbiz - Lindsay Lohan has begun serving her 30-day jail sentence. According to the L.A. County Sheriff's Department website via TMZ, the Cady Heron of "Mean Girls" turned herself into the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California at 8:48 P.M. PST on Sunday, November 6.

While she is expected to be released within hours after turning herself in due to jail overcrowding, she's still in custody. Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore previously noted that there's a chance the troubled actress has to spend the night behind bars if other inmates are checking out at the same time.

On Saturday, November 5 night, Lindsay was spotted enjoying a low-key dinner with her friends at Wabi-Sabi Sushi and Asian restaurant in Venice Beach, California. Days before on Thursday night, she reportedly crashed Leonardo DiCaprio's "J. Edgar" after-party at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.

"Lindsay was arguing with security to let her in, dropping every celebrity's name...She could be heard saying, 'I have to go and see Leo.' Eventually they let her in, but she made everybody uncomfortable," a source told the New York Post. "She was aggressive and random, storming around. She tried to get to Leo, but he was surrounded by his security and a posse of his friends."

Lindsay was sentenced to 30 days behind bar last Wednesday, November 2. Before Judge Stephanie Sautner laid the sentence, the 25-year-old admitted to violating her probation. She actually was given until November 9 to surrender herself so that she could re-take her photos for a spread on Playboy magazine.

After she is released from her latest stint in jail, Lindsay is expected to continue her community service at the Los Angeles county morgue. The judge has set a schedule, month by month, of how much community service and psychotherapy she must complete by the end of March 2012 during the November 2 hearing.
